About The Position

As a Cashier at Federal Donuts & Chicken, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing friendly, efficient, and attentive service. You will be responsible for accurately processing customer orders, handling cash and credit transactions, and ensuring that every customer has an outstanding experience. Your role will help maintain the smooth operation of our restaurant while contributing to a welcoming environment.

Requirements

Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy.
Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and a team player mindset.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service, answering questions about the menu and specials.
Process customer transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
Maintain a clean and organized register area and dining space.
Ensure orders are accurately entered into the system and fulfill any special requests.
Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to management as needed.
Assist with the preparation and packing of food items during busy periods.
Maintain knowledge of daily specials, promotions, and menu offerings.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and register reconciliation.
Adhere to food safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure an efficient workflow.
