About The Position
Job Description: We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing sales transactions. This role is key to ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by handling cash, credit, and debit payments promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in cashiering or retail customer service is an advantage.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area at all times.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policies.
- Answer customer questions regarding products, prices, and store policies.
