About The Position

The Cashier at Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo serves as the primary contact for guests and team members upon their arrival at the marina outlet and via phone. This role is specifically responsible for greeting and assisting marina guests in a friendly and professional manner, accurately processing payments for rentals and merchandise, and handling cash, credit, and electronic transactions in accordance with company procedures. The attendant provides information on marina services, rates, and policies, answers phone calls, and assists with reservations or general inquiries. Key duties also include maintaining accurate records, receipts, and daily cash reconciliation, supporting boaters with check-in/check-out procedures as needed, and stocking and organizing retail items and marina supplies. The position requires maintaining a clean and organized cashier and lobby area and effectively communicating with marina staff regarding guest needs and operations. Success in this role hinges on embodying the company's core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

  • Make decisions based on your own judgment and company policy
  • Follow instructions without close supervision
  • Occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Must be 18 and older
  • Have a Florida driver's license
  • Not smoke or use tobacco products (except where prohibited by law)
  • Required to pass a background check
  • Required to pass a drug test
  • Prove eligibility to work in the United States
