About The Position

ThinkTell Junction We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team! As a Cashier, you will serve as the first point of contact for our customers, creating a positive and welcoming experience as they complete their purchases. You will be responsible for managing transactions efficiently, handling cash and credit card payments, and providing assistance with any inquiries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is an asset.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately under pressure.
• Proficient in operating cash registers and point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
• Manage cash drawers and ensure that all cash transactions are balanced at the end of shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with inquiries and resolving issues.
• Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and surrounding spaces.
• Accurately scan items and apply discounts or promotions as necessary during the transaction.
