About The Position
As a cashier at Honeoye Falls Marketplace, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers have an exceptional shopping experience. This position is part-time and requires you to be the last point of contact for customers, making your role vital in leaving a positive impression. In this role, you will be responsible for providing superior customer service, which includes accepting customer applications for the company Perx Card, processing all forms of payment, and following proper bagging techniques. You will also need to adhere to all state and county regulations regarding age-restricted products and process EBT, WIC, coupons, and in-store discounts appropriately. A good knowledge of weekly sale items and product locations is essential to accurately respond to customer inquiries. We are looking for individuals who can work part-time afternoons and evenings, with at least one weekend day availability. Reliability is key, and while grocery and/or retail experience is preferred, exceptional communication skills and a highly motivated attitude are essential. You should be a team player who can also work independently when necessary, with the ability to multitask and maintain focus and efficiency with attention to detail. Physical demands include the ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.
