About The Position
Atlantic Buffet is seeking enthusiastic Cashiers to join our team at our Douglasville, GA location. As a growing local company, we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The Cashier position is a part-time role that involves various responsibilities, including greeting customers, assisting with inquiries, and handling transactions. The pay for this position starts at $10 per hour, with monthly payment periods occurring on the first of each month. We encourage interested candidates to call our store to schedule an interview and discuss their potential fit for our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cashier duties such as receiving payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining an accurate cash and credit drawer. You will also be tasked with reconciling cash drawers and sorting coins. Additionally, you will assist in stocking product shelves and ensuring the cleanliness of the retail environment. Other duties may include opening and closing tasks, such as cleaning the restaurant, restocking inventory, and securing the premises as needed. We are looking for individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and pay close attention to detail while multitasking effectively. While previous customer service experience is preferred, it is not required. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods (8 hours or more) and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
