About The Position
The Cashier is responsible for working a shift both accurately and efficiently, within Company policy, to ensure that the shift contributes to increased profitability of the store. This role involves receiving and disbursing money in establishments other than financial institutions, usually involving the use of electronic scanners, cash registers, or related equipment. The Cashier is often involved in processing credit or debit card transactions and validating checks.
