About The Position

Summary of position: To be the first point of access to all Repocast customers. To be friendly, patient, accurate, and fast in taking all payment forms from customers. To collect, correct and verify that all titled vehicles, motor homes, watercrafts, trailers, etc. are present and available before the auction. To process title transfers as well as handle any problems with titles and to keep accurate records of all titles. To be clear and respectful when informing customers about company policies. To kindly direct customers in next step in pick up process. This position does require Saturday work from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Job would be approximately 18-20 hours each week. Schedule: Thursday – 11:45 AM – 8:15 PM (Open Hours are Noon-8PM) Friday – 8:45 AM – 4:15 PM – (Open Hours are 9AM-4PM) Saturdays: 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM (Open Hours are 9AM-Noon) This position could very easily change to a full time opportunity as we continue to grow but that availability would not be required to be hired for this position currently. Responsibilities

  • Typical Cashier Duties Take the correct amount of payment from the customer, using appropriate devices and procedures
  • Accurately count down drawer daily and balance with paid invoices using the cashier balance sheet
  • Complete/attach/file required forms (i.e. tax exemption, IRS 8300, etc.)
  • Communicate with warehouse workers
  • Help answer customer questions
  • Keep cash drawer organized
  • Clean and tidy the cashier's office
  • Direct customers to where they need to pickup & coordinate with our employees for efficient pickup
  • Other duties as requested by manager
  • Typical Check In Duties Start contracts in the appropriate auctions with customers selling items
  • Ensure all information is accurate and complete
  • Confirm consignor payout information is correct
  • Use proper grammar and spelling
  • Add lots to contracts on occasion
  • Edit and review auction items for errors
  • Ensure accurate category placement
  • Confirm accurate pictures and matching descriptions
  • Use online search tools to verify questions on items
  • Edit any descriptions from customer requests or manager requests
  • Making changes to locations
  • Other duties as requested by manager
  • Typical Title Based Duties Type RD-180’s/TR-11’s/WR-11’s accurately and complete title transfer process
  • Explaining Plating Options to customer - New Plate, Plate Transfer, Intransit Plate, etc
  • Plate Fee Calculator and adding plate fees to invoice
  • Running Repeat offender search
  • Gathering information from customer for each transaction - Drivers License, Proof of Insurance, etc
  • Completing paperwork with the customer, signing paperwork correctly
  • Making necessary copies and submitting paperwork to Secretary of State for transfer.
  • Look up Secretary of State Website and Vin #s when needed
  • Working in Excel to add each deal to a tracking spreadsheet
  • Prepping Incoming Auction Sale Titles - copying, printing corresponding sale contract, etc
  • Update Police Book Data Entry - Creating an entry for every unit we sell
  • Troubleshoot issues with titles – TR-54 Inspections, Secretary of State Returns, etc
  • Perform necessary functions in QuickBooks Accounting for daily EFT withdrawal
  • Writing Checks, entering EFT's and deposits
  • Completing title preparation for each Repocast auction (trained as backup)
  • Verify that every item in auction that needs a title has one
  • Know Title and Lien Release procedures
  • Correspond with AFC/Nextgear/Other floor plan institutes regarding dealer titles and securing titles
  • This position would be cross-trained as a cashier / check in agent - The first few weeks of employment would be training in this position to give the new hire the basics to work as a title agent successfully.
