Responsibilities

• Stock front-end areas, including registers, shelving, coolers, and freezers, while rotating items in accordance with the FIFO system.
• Check out customers' groceries efficiently and accurately, adhering to proper cash-out procedures.
• Bag groceries with care.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs promptly and effectively while modeling suggestive selling techniques.
• Assist in managing customer flow and reducing wait times by addressing backed-up lines.
• Answer phones and pages courteously and promptly.
• Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing duties as assigned.
• Follow established procedures to ensure compliance with Weights and Measures regulations, health and sanitation standards, safe work practices, and maintaining a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment.
• Assist with training new Cashiers/Stockers as needed.
• Arrive at the workstation on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; fulfill all scheduled shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or ownership.
