About The Position
Goodwill in North Canton is hiring full-time Cashier/Sales Floor Associates. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering teamwork, and supporting Goodwill's mission to transform lives and build a sustainable future. Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash
- Ability to identify quality, color tones, and merchandise categories
Nice To Haves
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Experience with POS systems and basic computer skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer and donor service at every interaction
- Operate the POS system, handle transactions, and maintain accurate cash records
- Support programs such as Round Up and Good Points
- Stock, rotate, and merchandise sales floor inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Assist with training new team members
- Follow all agency policies, safety, and security procedures
- End every transaction with a positive message: "You changed a life today-thank you!"
