Job Description: 20 hours a week varied schedule week to week | Primarily between 2PM-7PM but very flexible | One Saturday 8-5 a month min required (all pharmacy staff requirement) | Schedule is done 6 weeks ahead for a month at a time. We offer a variety of value-added services, including vaccinations, adherence packaging, meds-to-beds, shipping, and non-hazardous compounding. In addition, we are a designated specialty pharmacy with access to many hard-to-find medications. About the Job Supports Elliot Pharmacy at River’s Edge’s hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities. Performs accurate cash & charge transactions in compliance with the procedures established by the department. Provides exceptional customer service to all customers and patients. Responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the front-end retail store. What You’ll Do Engages customers in the aisles and offers assistance to customers with products and services. Provides information on where a product is located in the store and/or shows the customer the location. Responsible for answering the telephone in the front of the store. Places basic department orders for front store merchandise. Receives orders and verifies accuracy before applying to inventory. Assists with inventory management. Operates the cash register. Verifies the security and accuracy of the cash drawer and related equipment. Completes product returns, voids and customer refunds. Straightens merchandise at closing, ensuring the sales floor is ready for the next business day. Counts inventory, maintains products on-hands and adds new inventory in the Point of Sale system. Assists with building displays and completing department resets and revisions. Completes daily reports and balances daily receipts.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Required to Register as a Pharmacy Technician within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience: Two (2) years of retail experience is preferred.
  • Computer and cash register/point of sale skills is preferred.
