About The Position

Join our team as a Festival Foods Cashier! We are seeking Cashiers to provide outstanding service to our customers (which we refer to as guests). As a key part of our retail and grocery store team experience, you'll ensure every shopper leaves ready to 'boomerang' back again. Providing excellent guest service is at the heart of what we do. Whether it's a friendly greeting, answering questions or addressing guest concerns, you'll handle each interaction with professionalism and care. Your willingness to help guests with what they need will make a positive impact every day.

Requirements

• Ability to engage with guests and provide outstanding retail sales and service.
• Ability to process information and merchandise transactions and handle cash and media at registers.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with both customers and retail associate team members.
• Ability to read, count, and write accurately to ensure precise transactions.
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.

Responsibilities

• Engage in friendly conversations with guests and ensure they feel welcome and valued.
• Scan grocery items, process sales efficiently, and handle monetary transactions with care.
• Bag items thoughtfully to ensure products reach their destination in good condition.
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements to assist guests effectively.
• Keep your register station neat and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Relay guest requests to the Guest Services leadership team as needed.
• Ensure all quality and quantity standards are met, especially during peak times.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
• Maintain regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule.
