About The Position

The Cashier position is responsible for being a welcoming first point of contact with all guests in Chook Chicken, properly entering orders into the point of sale system, communicating properly and respectfully with other employees, serving guests beverages when ordered, and assisting on the floor with all other roles when needed. Responsibilities

Welcomes all guests in a positive manner.
Correctly takes orders with Chooks standards of service.
Confidently describes Chooks story and menu items to guests.
Assists guests with beverage needs after taking their orders and during their entire time at the restaurant.
Only serves alcohol to guests over 21 years of age and follows the Chook Identification Policy for all alcoholic orders.
Maintains a clean work station and restaurant while on shift.
Performs pre-shift side work duties, running side work throughout shift, and closing or end of shift side work with attention and care.
Fills in any role that may be needed during a shift.
Maintains clean dining areas, restrooms, and kids areas throughout the entirety of every shift.
Clears food and drinks for guests.
Refreshes non-alcoholic beverages for all guests dining in the restaurant.
Polishes glassware for beverage service.
Appropriately asks questions when necessary.
Appropriately asks for help when necessary.
Follows all safety procedures at Chook.
Arrives on time for all shifts in a clean uniform with good personal hygiene.
