About The Position

Moto Deli , Leucadia's go-to spot for chef-driven sandwiches and artisanal deli fare, is looking for a friendly, multi-talented Cashier & Barista to join our front-of-house team. As the first face our guests see, you'll set the tone for their entire experience-whether they are stopping in for their morning caffeine fix or grabbing a favorite local sandwich for lunch. What you'll do: Guest Ambassadorship: Provide a warm, welcoming experience for every guest. Share your knowledge of our menu, including our house-cured meats and specialty ingredients. Barista Excellence: Craft high-quality espresso drinks, coffees, and teas with consistency and care. Transaction Management: Efficiently handle orders and payments through our POS system, ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Dining Room Pride: Maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere in the cafe and patio areas, including clearing tables and restocking supplies. Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless order flow and guest satisfaction. Opening/Closing Duties: Assist with daily setup or breakdown to ensure the shop is always ready for success. What you'll bring: Hospitality Mindset: A naturally positive, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to help people. Experience: Previous experience as a Barista or Cashier in a high-volume cafe or restaurant setting is preferred. Efficiency: The ability to multitask-balancing drink orders, the register, and guest needs-without losing your cool. Communication: Clear and friendly communication skills, both with guests and your teammates. Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential for our small, tight-knit crew. Passion: An interest in great food and coffee culture. Certifications: Current Food Handler Certification is required.
