Experienced Barista with the ability to serve coffee, espresso beverages and food in a consistent manner and according to recipes. Must have the ability to provide quality customer service and demonstrate a knowledge of coffee products, brew methods, equipment, and tea products. Must be willing to assist with kitchen duties, preparing food, maintaining sanitation standards and washing dishes. Responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention toward each customer. Experience with cashier duties or willingness to learn. CORE TASKS In the Cashier role, the employee must be able to explain the menu and be well-versed in the products available Ensure customers are warmly received and welcomed and engaged in sincere and friendly conversation. Respond to questions/orders/concerns in a professional manner. Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for clues. Facilitate easy dialogue regarding product offerings with customers. Actively participate in training sessions to advance your coffee education. Craft beverages that adhere to the company’s quality standards. Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers Respond proactively to prevent negative customer service situations. Accurately ring sales orders into POS system and counts back change to the customers in a courteous and friendly manner. Restock retail shelves when necessary. Serve food, clean dishes, maintain sanitary standards Routinely clean the bar area , retail shelving, floors, windows, and grinders; vacuum, and take out the trash.
