About The Position

As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service while also contributing to the overall success of the store. In this position, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, responding to inquiries and complaints, and leading by example in customer service excellence. You will ensure that all opening and closing procedures are performed accurately, which includes auditing the safe, ensuring equipment is in good working order, and stocking the check stand area. Additionally, you will manage the cash register, ensuring accurate counting, balancing, and securing of the change drawer and safe. Keeping updated on market trends in the healthy grocery industry and driving membership sales and promotions will also be key components of your role. As a leader, you will inspire your team to meet daily and monthly sales goals, educate customers about Erewhon’s mission and standards for excellence, and assist the Front End Manager with administrative tasks. You will also hold coaching conversations with team members as needed, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed consistently, even in the absence of the Front End Manager.
