About The Position

The Cash Processing Teller at GardaWorld is responsible for verifying work assignments, inspecting deposit bags, and performing deposit processing functions. This role ensures compliance with company policies and regulations while identifying counterfeit and suspicious activities. The position requires meeting productivity standards and working independently without direct supervision.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Cash handling and balancing experience highly desired.
• 1-2 years teller experience preferred.
• Strong data entry skills and experience.
• Detail-oriented with basic math skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Verify assigned work and inspect deposit bags for evidence of tampering.
• Perform deposit processing functions including reconciling any out-of-balance conditions.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies including state and federal regulations.
• Identify counterfeit, suspicious activity, and potential AML red flag transactions and report to Supervisor.
• Meet or exceed established deposit processing productivity standards.
• Verify cash settlements are accurate and transfer funds to appropriate vaults.
• Identify and share process improvement opportunities.
• Work independently without direct supervision or oversight.
