About The Position

We are seeking a Cash Applications Analyst to support our Accounts Receivable function. This role is responsible for processing customer payments, researching unidentified or short-paid items, and helping improve automation within the cash application process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self‑motivated, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong Excel skills, solid communication abilities, and hands-on AR experience are essential.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred
3–5 years of Accounts Receivable experience, including deep cash application experience
Experience posting and applying customer payments within an ERP system (D365 a plus)
Experience documenting processes and maintaining internal controls
Exceptional attention to detail and strong math skills
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Proficiency in ERP systems; experience with D365 and/or BlackLine is a plus

Responsibilities

Process all cash receipts from customers across various payment methods
Investigate and resolve unidentified, partial, and short payments
Maximize electronic payment processing and support automation initiatives
Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cash application processes
Report on daily cash receipts and contribute to AR KPIs and trend reporting
Support internal and external audits by providing needed documentation
Assist with month-end close activities, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc analyses
