Strategies to Empower People is looking to hire a full-time Case Supervisor for our Deaf Supported Living Services department ! This position works directly with the Intellectually and/or Developmentally Disabled (I/DD) adults our agency serves and provides ongoing supervision, training, and development for the direct support staff that work with our clients in the Sacramento County area! This position and department support and employ people who are deaf or hard of hearing! American Sign Language skills are a requirement for this role! The Case Supervisor for Deaf Supported Living Services is responsible for providing support for a caseload of clients as well as providing supervision and training for the staff that work with those clients. This position is where the rubber meets the road when it comes to developing and implementing various plans for the disabled adults our agency supports - the Case Supervisor for Deaf Supported Living Services works closely with the clients and their staff to meet goals, celebrate successes, and maintain connections in their communities. The Case Supervisor for Deaf Supported Living Services will also be responsible for meeting numerous administrative requirements, such as documentation, auditing, training, and more. However this is NOT an office position! The goal is for the Case Supervisor for Deaf Supported Living Services to spend 75% of their time face-to-face with the clients we serve and 25% meeting administrative requirements. The Case Supervisor for Deaf Supported Living Services position is a salaried exempt role which is on-call Monday through Friday and shares a rotating on-call weekend with the other members of the supervisory team (potentially one weekend a month). Please note that this is not a 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. position! The Case Supervisor for Deaf Supported Living Services is the first point of contact for field staff and needs to be a constant and accessible resource for our clients and our staff during the work week! When all else fails, the Case Supervisor for Deaf Supported Living Services is there to support our clients!
