About This Role: This internship offers hands-on experience in human resources and/or human services. You will gain practical, resume-worthy experience by working with experienced professionals and contributing to real projects. The Case Services Intern will: Assist with team work through processing cases as assigned, addressing client ineligibility for services, providing guidance to address eligibility matter. Support team members in education/reeducation to stakeholders on service program information, ensuring client and employee understanding of company policies related to service delivery. Customer/Stakeholder Support: Initiate outreach to clients and employees to deliver policy information and draft professional written communications to stakeholders. Participate in meetings and share ideas. Complete assignments under supervisor guidance. Develop core skills relevant to the role (e.g., communication, analysis, stakeholder engagement). Build proficiency in team tools and workflows (e.g., Outlook, Teams, AccraFinity, Paylocity, domain-specific apps). Complete a capstone deliverable aligned to academic goals and team priorities.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in human resources, human services, or other related field.
  • Strong interest in working with clients regarding eligibility for services and ensuring compliance with program regulations regarding appropriate use of program services.
  • Good time management; critical thinking; self-starter.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite programs and adaptability to learning new software programs.
