Program Summary The Employment Institute, Auberle's nationally recognized workforce development program, places unemployed and underemployed individuals in career jobs, not just training. Our passionate, mission-driven team supports individuals in overcoming any barrier to employment impacting our participants, their families, and future generations. Because of our holistic model, 84% of our participants remain in their employment for six months or more, a long-term indicator of success in the workplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but related experience acceptable
  • ACT 33/34 and FBI Clearances
  • Valid PA driver’s license
  • Meet the required Skills and Abilities described herein

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment and supervision of appropriate participants for all Employment Institute programs.
  • Manage and serve as a mentor for a caseload of program participants across our service area (Western PA and/or South Central PA).
  • Conduct assessments, home/community visits, and one-on-one case management sessions to identify skills, interests, and barriers to employment.
  • Assist participants in developing strong work ethic, soft skills, and other necessary competencies that will increase their employability and career advancement potential.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized case plans and career pathways for participants, tracking progress toward goals and providing ongoing guidance.
  • Collaborate with Auberle staff, volunteers, employers, and community organizations to find innovative solutions to help participants secure high-quality jobs with benefits.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of participant progress, documentation of services, and case management activities in compliance with Auberle’s policies.
  • Develop aggressive success measures that focus on participants gaining and keeping meaningful employment.
  • When asked, represent Auberle with external constituency groups including business, community, government, and private organizations.
  • Ensure that all agency activities operate consistently and ethically within the Mission and Values of Auberle and consistent with its faith-based Catholic Identity.
  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive culture based on respect that builds a diverse staff of high performers who expect and deliver excellence and exhibit agency pride.
