Case Manager Position Overview: Provide high quality and compassionate care to clients through various treatment methods which include both individual and group counseling. Principal Responsibilities Perform treatment planning, assessment, crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, case management, and education services as they relate to abuse of or dependency on alcohol and other drugs under appropriate supervision. Refer individuals with non-chemical dependency conditions to appropriate sources of help under appropriate supervision. Ensure all documentation regarding patient care, treatment, and incidents are completed timely and accurately. Consult with other professionals when indicated. Provide crisis interventions and de-escalation techniques. Adhere to all organizational and departmental policies and procedures, including compliance with all behavioral, ethical, and client boundary expectations. Maintain performance expectations outlined between CDCA and supervisor. Maintain client records according to the organization’s policies and procedures. Complete organization, Ohio MHAS, and CARF required training. Maintain license or registration appropriate to profession and appropriate to job requirement, including appropriate amount of continuing education at all times of employment. Maintain strict confidentiality at all times. Other duties as assigned.
