Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree/HS/GED with 1 year experience processing childcare vouchers
  • Bilingual both verbal and written preferred
  • Proficiency in modern business communications including personal computers, electronic mail, voicemail, and copier equipment
  • Proficiency in virtual platforms is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload for a diverse client population
  • Conduct intakes and assessment and input information in database (provided by funder) and Salesforce
  • Provide clients with internal and external referrals as needed
  • Perform client advocacy and follow-ups services
  • Document client progress and all interactions with or on behalf of clients in the database
  • Complete training needed to facilitate information to targeted communities (catchment areas in provided Community Districts; BX 1, 2,3,6,4,5,7,9, and 11)
  • Participate in community outreach events as scheduled
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Develop a customized service plan with clients, outlining action steps and responsibilities.
  • Assist the client with obtaining necessary documentation to recertify their existing ACS Childcare voucher. This includes catchment areas in the following community districts in the Bronx (catchment areas; BX 1, 2,3,6,4,5,7,9, and 11)
  • Conduct follows ups to families (using multiple sources such as text, email, phone or in person (if required) to ensure they can sustain their childcare benefit.
  • Maintain up to date case files and database entries, as well as regular contact with clients via office visits, telephone contact and home visits.
  • Coordinate client referrals for other needed services
  • Other duties as assigned.
