Provides information, awareness, marketing, and educational programs for caregivers and community. The Prevention team provides programs that prevent negative outcomes including adolescent substance use, depression, family conflict, and delinquency and increase protective factors such as coping skills, family attachment, and positive body image. This position is on the Youth Services Prevention team and teaches evidence-based prevention programs to youth and families in a group setting. Leads and facilitates psychoeducational groups and orient youth and families to agency policies, programs, and expectations. Prepares curriculum and all needed supplies. Provides education to youth and families through interactive and engaging curriculum. This position collaborates with agency staff and community partners to support recruitment and outreach efforts for prevention programs, including, but not limited to, public speaking, community events, marketing campaigns, website copy, and social media content.
