A 37.5 per hour work week to ensure work/life balance Medical, dental, vision, and prescription benefits to keep you and your loved ones healthy Employer-paid short- and long-term disability insurance Life insurance coverage at no cost to you Up to 2 weeks of vacation in your first year (based on hours worked) Up to 2 weeks of sick leave (based on hours worked) 12 paid agency recognized holidays 2 floating holidays to use your way 403(b) retirement plan with employer matching (eligibility applies) Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your family Potential eligibility for Student Loan Forgiveness through our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Maintain case management for refugee clients in accordance with state and federal-funded contracts Work with clients to develop strengths-based service plans to identify barriers to self-sufficiency and outline the necessary steps to overcome these barriers Connect clients with community networks and support systems to ensure their long-term integration into the community (this may include working closely with volunteers who are supporting clients) Provide transportation for clients, including scheduling medical transportation or ensuring clients understand and has access to public transportation, to attend required appointments and ensure that language access is provided at these appointments Provide in-home services to refugees including case management, needs assessments, cultural orientation, education, crisis support, information and referrals as needed. Keep in regular contact with active cases per contractual requirements, including home-visits, office meetings, community orientation, and phone calls Maintain organized case files, complete accurate progress notes for all services provided, submit necessary reports in a timely manner, and keep shared tracking forms up to date Coordinate needed services through referrals to refugee service providers including the Health Department, Employment Services, Social Security, DSHS and ESL providers Ensure that clients are being served in a linguistically and culturally appropriate manner and provide education and advocacy when necessary Maintain compliance with all relevant program/department requirements, including and not limited to adhering to all record-keeping and reporting requirements. Model and encourage direct, professional communication among staff members and facilitate development of a positive staff support network. Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity in the delivery of client services as it relates to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the populations served. Other duties as assigned. HOW YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT: Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is required. General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work well under pressure and work effectively in a multicultural setting, demonstrating excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills. General experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office365. Transportation: This position requires valid state driver license and reliable transportation for business purposes, such as between work locations and community settings. This position is responsible for driving clients in a personal and/or agency rental. Language Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak in English and Spanish. Clearance: Standard LCSNW criminal clearance, including national sex offender. Motor vehicle records, valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required. Thank you!
