About The Position

Our growing Disaster Management Division makes BIG things happen every day. ICF is seeking a Case Manager Lead to help the State of Florida manage grants to carry out strategic and high-impact activities to mitigate disaster risks and reduce future losses in its communities. This position is 100% Remote in the United States. As Case Manager Lead, you will work closely with the Program Manager and senior ICF staff, subject matter experts; train and manage a team of case managers; and - as a point of escalation for case managers - clearly communicate information to residents regarding their options to help them make informed decisions.

Requirements

5+ years of experience providing intake and case management services and knowledge of best practices for providing case management services for programs aimed at assisting individual households
Experience with state and/or federally-funded grant programs.
3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).

Nice To Haves

5+ years of in-depth and hands-on knowledge of grant programs, regulations, and implementation, including strong understanding of compliance.
5+ years of experience in grant funded or public assistance programs, such as housing programs
Experience working in a consulting firm, development organization, or public agency preferred.
Experience delivering training and technical assistance to state and local government agencies.
Willingness to travel up to 25% depending on role and project needs in the United States.

Responsibilities

Develop and master policies and procedures governing case management for our clients.
Supervise and manage Case Managers, including but not limited to:
- Assigning cases to the case management team,
- Maintaining their schedules and timesheets, and
- Assisting case managers in achieving monthly goals and with unique/difficult cases as an escalation point of contact.
Maintain a complete understanding of all applicable Program policies, requirements, and procedures and review all cases within established program guidelines.
Assist with drafting and issuing updated policies and procedures, job aids, and/or operations management manuals to aid in implementing the program(s)
Train, supervise, and evaluate the operations of case managers.
Coordinate closely with call center, inspection staff and client.
Help refine program procedures and processes for implementation.
Provide guidance and assessment of case management staff, as needed.
Present technical information in key meetings.
Interact with senior staff from local and state agencies, as needed.
Support strategy for intake launch and operations.
Advise senior leadership and management, as needed.
Perform other duties as required.
