About The Position

The Case Manager at LARE Institute, a branch of American Training, is responsible for supporting youth and adults in education and occupational training programs. This role involves conducting interviews, coordinating participant plans, and facilitating workshops to enhance work readiness and soft skills. The Case Manager acts as a liaison among instructors, program managers, and job developers to ensure participants receive comprehensive support throughout their training journey.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or at least two years of related experience.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Ability to cope well under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial interviews with participants to verify entrance criteria and identify obstacles to completion.
  • Provide orientation explaining all aspects of the program.
  • Participate in the final selection of participants.
  • Provide weekly individual personal and vocational counseling sessions.
  • Assist the Job Developer in facilitating work readiness and soft skill workshops.
  • Create and update participant files with counseling notes and attendance records.
  • Support participants by identifying needs and coordinating assistance from community agencies.
  • Assist with externship and job placement activities as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with funding agencies regarding student progress.
  • Demonstrate a professional image and attitude at all times.
