This position is responsible for facilitating and leading life-skills-based groups and workshops for youth, with a strong focus on healthy relationships, personal development, and overall well-being. The role delivers youth-centered, strengths-based programming across West Michigan in a variety of settings, including schools, community sites, and residential environments. The facilitator builds meaningful, purposeful relationships with young people while guiding group discussions, interactive workshops, and skill-building activities. Services include group facilitation, outreach, case management, program development, and program evaluation, including data collection and management to support continuous improvement. Positive outcomes are achieved through trauma-informed, hope-centered, and evidence-based practices, with an emphasis on respect, consistency, and youth voice. Success in this role requires openness to exploring bias, equity, successes, and challenges from a place of curiosity, learning, and shared understanding.
