About The Position
This position is eligible for 10% field work and 5% bilingual specialty pay for hours worked. The first 3 months in office, then scheduled levels of telework until probation is complete. Special Note: This is a grant-funded position. Continued employment is contingent upon job performance/evaluation, continued funding of the program, and other appropriate County procedures. You will be on the front line of our efforts dedicated to connect older adults and individuals with disabilities with services to help them remain safe and independent at home. Here, our assistance has a direct impact on our client's quality of life. Pierce County Human Services is the community and human services arm of the Pierce County government. It is the largest contributor to Pierce County's safety net providing services and funding to nearly 170 agencies and governmental jurisdictions. The department collaborates with its community partners, including other public and non-profit funders and service providers to understand current and emerging community and human services needs. The department strives to create and invest in a comprehensive and integrated regional services system.
