As a Case Management Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for the successful administration and management of Refugee and Immigrant services case management team. This individual will also be responsible for overseeing and maintaining consistent professional standards, contract regulations and national office expectations. This position is expected to function effectively with moderate supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Services or equivalent field of study from an accredited college and at least three (3) years of experience or four (4) years of experience (Michigan) in child welfare or refugee resettlement; or Master's degree in Human Services or equivalent field of study from an accredited college in lieu or experience or Master's degree in Human Services or equivalent with 2 years of experience in child welfare (Michigan);
At least one (1) year of experience of managing others;
Obtain and maintain the appropriate professional licensure and registration, if applicable;
Demonstrated ability with providing excellent clinical, therapeutic, and crisis intervention skills;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Must exhibit an ability to apply the principles of logic and critical thinking with problem solving;
Work well under pressure and adaptable to change;
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite;
Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany. Must also pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage;
Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries;
Documentation of immunity to vaccine preventable diseases or the willingness to receive vaccination, or seeking an exemption;
Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Commitment to Unity.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor staff in applying the Sanctuary Model of Care;
Supervise case managers and case aides in alignment with agency, DHHS, ORR, and COA standards;
Effectively distribute case assignments in a fair and equitable manner;
Coach and train staff to ensure professional growth and consistent service delivery;
Oversee the success of individual cases, ensuring positive outcomes and timely resolution;
Conduct regular supervision meetings and performance evaluations;
Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training on new team members;
Build and sustain a cohesive team while cultivating a positive employee morale;
Ensure agency policies and procedures are enforced through employee evaluations, conference request, time sheets, and reimbursement vouchers;
Collaborate with treatment teams to align case management with therapeutic goals;
Stay up to date on current industry trends and theories while recommending changes in agency policies and practices when appropriate;
Participate in the preparation of annual budget, goals and objectives for the program;
Develop, maintain, and enhance positive work relationships with referral sources, state and federal agencies, volunteer and community agencies, employers, and individuals;
Actively participate in community forums relevant to primary job responsibilities;
Ensure timely and accurate reporting and documentation;
Attend training as needed and apply newly gained knowledge to provided service;
Maintain an awareness of current trends, theories, state licensing regulations, legislation and practices through the review of professional journals and literature, participation in relevant educational forums;
Attend project teams, local, and national meetings to enhance provision of services to populations served;
Receive and process intake and referrals in a timely manner;
Establish and maintain post residential placement options including a network of SIL homes;
Coordinate discharge and aftercare services in conjunction with Aftercare Specialist;
Develop community resources for youth including job placements and volunteer opportunities;
Participate in and ensure that on-call system meets program needs;
Complete other duties as assigned.
