About The Position

Meadow Gold Dairy in Salt Lake City, UT, is hiring an adaptable Case Dock/ Wire Dock to perform an array of functions. The Case Dock Worker is responsible for ensuring empty cases are available to production departments to meet production schedules. Assistance to shipping by moving trailers as requested and according to established Company policies and procedures. The Case Dock Worker is also responsible for maintaining and cleaning all equipment in the assigned area. Slide Case Stacks from the truck using Milk Hook or Pallet Jack as appropriate. Ensure the Case Wash machine is functioning properly. Notify management of any production and safety concerns or problems and maintain a clean and sanitary work area. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as an effective team member.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, including drug, background, and criminal checks.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend the entire shift virtually.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high.
  • Must be able to work in a wet environment and work in an environment where the temperature is maintained at 35–40 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing, processing, or warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Previous food manufacturing, processing, or warehouse experience is a plus!
