It takes an incredible team to deliver the goodness of dairy and enrich our communities – come join us!   The Case Dock Operator is responsible for maintaining and cleaning all equipment in assigned area. Slide case stacks from truck/trailer using pallet jack or appropriate equipment. Ensure conveyor tracks are filled with empty cases. Ensure area is full of cases at the end of the shift to help next shift. Correctly prioritize which truck to empty first based on input from supervisors, yard drivers, or other personnel. Scan area and pickup or straighten up area to eliminate slips, trips and falls. Spot broken or unusable cases and remove.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 6 months related experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Must be able to pass a written and driving forklift skills test
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand and drive for virtually the entire shift.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
  • Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks).

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer 6 months recent experience operating an electric forklift or pallet jack in a high efficiency environment.
  • Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
  • May have exposure to allergens.

Responsibilities

  • Handle returns and truck inventory as instructed
  • Ensure trailers are unloaded and washed in a timely fashion
  • Ensure all paperwork is filled out completely, legibly and accurately
  • Follow all SOP's
  • Utilize continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities to improve processes
  • Report any and all food quality related issues
  • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Follow all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Processes).
