Geo Owl is currently looking for a Maritime Cartographer to support our customer in Springfield, Virginia. To be qualified, you need at least 5 years of relevant experience and meet the requirements listed below. Location: Springfield, VA Clearance: TS/SCI Requirements: Must meet all the requirements listed below. A minimum of 1-3 years with a related Geospatial degree or 5 years with High School of experience in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) and Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), reflecting a comprehensive understanding and application of geospatial analytical methodologies and practices. Active TS/SCI clearance. Expertise and experience in geography, cartography, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) which includes skill in ArcGIS applications. Expertise and experience in creating shapefiles, geo-databases, and features. Knowledge of geospatial analysis software suites (GIS commercial software packages such as ArcGIS Pro, ERDAS & SocetSet, including common office software to include spreadsheets, word processing) used by NGA to accomplish its mission. Knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques, and NGA digital data formats. Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but not required.
