About The Position

Vyve Business Services include optical Ethernet, PRI and hosted voice services for the business community. Vyve Broadband is seeking an experienced Carrier Relations Analyst to join our team and help us manage our relationships with our third-party partners. You will be responsible for negotiating rates, terms and conditions, and service level agreements with our partners. You will also support our sales teams with RFPs, quotes and other special projects, as well as updating our building list and rate cards for each partner. You will work closely with our Operations team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in telecom carrier relations, pricing, or procurement
  • Strong knowledge of telecom products and services, such as Ethernet, IP, Wavelengths, Dark Fiber, etc.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, Salesforce.com
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Results oriented with roll-up-the-sleeves attitude – proven ability to execute
  • Strong, relentless attention to details
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, mindset and strong work ethic are a must
  • Proactive and self-directed

Responsibilities

  • Review and respond to RFPs and quote requests from sales teams, providing competitive pricing and solutions for on-net & off-net services
  • Negotiate rates, terms and conditions, and SLAs with third-party partners, ensuring compliance with company policies and objectives
  • Maintain and update our building list and rate cards for each vendor, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Track and report on the performance and quality of quotes and installations, identifying and resolving any issues or disputes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our partners, fostering trust and collaboration
  • Research and evaluate new off-net opportunities and vendors, expanding our network coverage and capabilities
  • Review off-net partner invoices for accuracy
  • Manage off-net inventory records and process commissions for Channel Partners
