About The Position

Carrier Relations Analyst II will be responsible for sourcing network capacity via telecom carriers. This includes locating and evaluating optimal vendors to develop telecommunications solutions for the company. Soliciting price quotes for wave, ethernet, dark fiber and internet services. The Carrier Relations Analyst II will work with the Director, Carrier Relations on vendor selection, quote requests and ordering. The Carrier Relations Analyst II will assist in coordinating the company's efforts in responding to existing and potential customer quote proposal requests.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales support and/or Telecom provider support.
Must have prior experience in the Telecommunications industry.

Experience doing Telecom pricing
Associate degree in business related field or a combination of education and experience
Strong knowledge of Telecommunications services, network and products.
Experience in access planning, network planning and reporting.
Strong negotiating skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel.
Strong organizational, problem solving and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate and work closely with a diverse, cross functional team of professionals including sales, project management and finance.
Ability to work independently.
