The role is responsible for booking and tracking truckload shipments. The role requires the ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize daily workload. Candidate must be able to overcome issues and resolve problems. Candidates must be comfortable on the phone and have great communication skills. Strong negotiating skills and the ability to develop relationships with carriers are a must. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, develop your logistics skills and collaborate with very talented people across our organization. Requirements
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize daily workload
- Candidate must be able to overcome issues and resolve problems.
- Candidates must be comfortable on the phone and have great communication skills.
- Strong negotiating skills and the ability to develop relationships with carriers are a must.
Responsibilities
- Utilize TMS system as well as web based load boards to book and track shipments of freight
- Ability to multi-task and get accurate updates to sales force
- Negotiate rates with carriers
- Maintain 15% margin on loads
- Make minimum of 100 calls a day to book available loads

- $40k Base Salary + commissions
