About The Position

Skillforce is currently seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters for a 3 month project in Dubuque, IA. This role involves general commercial carpentry work, supporting ongoing construction and renovation efforts. Carpenters will be working 9 hours a day Monday-Thursday and 4 hours on Friday. Requirements

• Previous commercial carpentry experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic framing and general carpentry practices
• Ability to use common hand and power tools safely
• Reliable transportation to the jobsite
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Perform basic wood framing in a commercial setting
• Patch and repair flooring as needed
• Complete general carpentry tasks, including repairs and modifications
• Read and follow basic drawings or instructions
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work collaboratively with other trades on site
