Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Carpenters for projects located in or around Cranston, RI. This is a first shift opportunity and t he pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Layout materials Erect residential or commercial framework; concrete forms, walls & roofs Install doors frames, doors, windows, cabinets, molding & trim Read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and building plans to determine material requirements and dimensions Safely operate hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and pneumatic nailer's, while maintaining tools Estimate material needs, troubleshoot issues, and mentor apprentices Adhere to safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), ensuring a safe job site and proper use of safety gear

Requirements

Must have proven experience as a journeyman carpenter, usually verified by completion of an apprenticeship program.
Must have strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction method
Must be able to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs), stand for long periods, work at heights, and work in varied weather conditions.
Must have basic hand tools and PPE
Ability to read blueprints

Responsibilities

Layout materials
Erect residential or commercial framework; concrete forms, walls & roofs
