With operations throughout the United States, Holder Construction is looking for a Carpenter to join their Operations team on a full-time project in Mesa, AZ.

Requirements

Possess 5 years of construction experience.
Must be able to read basic drawings.
Have training on construction safety protocols (i.e. OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform (boom and scissor).
Provide primary support to field supervision and must demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, and use critical thinking to solve issues.
Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.
Substance abuse testing and a background screening is a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Concrete is a HUGE plus.
Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
Must be able to work outside.
Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
Punctuality and promptness are required every day.

Responsibilities

Constructing and maintaining safety handrails and hole protection, steps and gang ladders, temporary weather enclosures and protection.
Sawing, stripping, nailing, measuring, drilling, and other duties assigned by supervisor.
