About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to support the maintenance and upkeep of our hospitality facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring that all wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe, functional, and visually appealing environment for guests and staff.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably within a hotel, resort, or hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and working at heights
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required in a hospitality environment
  • Strong customer service and support skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform carpentry work including construction, installation, repair, and maintenance of wooden structures and fixtures such as doors, cabinets, furniture, and flooring
  • Conduct routine inspections of guest areas and back-of-house facilities to identify maintenance needs
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure minimal disruption to guest experience
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to support operational needs
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
  • All other duties as assigned.
