About The Position

True North Restoration of Southwest Florida is seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our restoration and reconstruction team. In this role, you will perform carpentry repairs and rebuild structures damaged by water, fire, mold, and storms. Responsibilities include framing, drywall installation and finishing, trim work, cabinetry, flooring, and general construction tasks to restore residential and commercial properties to pre-loss condition. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, has strong problem-solving abilities, and is committed to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

2+ years of carpentry experience required (restoration or remodeling experience preferred).
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding labor.
Knowledge of building codes, construction safety, and proper tool usage.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
Ability to work flexible schedules and occasional overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

Perform residential and commercial carpentry-related reconstruction work, including framing, drywall, insulation, trim, flooring, and cabinetry installation.
Assist in structural repairs and general construction following restoration projects.
Operate power tools, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently.
Read, understand, and execute project plans and job site instructions.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Deliver excellent customer service and communicate job progress to team leaders.
Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
