About The Position

Your Job Producing Architectural Woodwork. This is a Full-Time position working 40 hours Monday thru Thursday, with possible 8 hours of Overtime on Fridays. No weekend work and all work is indoors year round. This position has a set schedule from 5:30am until 4:15pm Monday through Thursday with potential work from 5:30am until 1:30pm on Fridays. All tools and equipment are provided by TMI.Our Team TMI Systems Corporation produces 3 different product lines, Casework, Countertops and Architectural Woodwork. Our primary customers are the Educational and Health care industries, and our products are shipped across the entire country. We have been in business for over 50 years.What You Will DoThis position is working in a small team of 2 or 3 people that belongs to a larger team of 20 to 30 people that provides similar products. This larger group of 30 people belongs to the larger team of 250+ employees at TMI that provide estimating, engineering, drafting, customer service and finished products to valued customers across the nation.You would be working with small hand tools, routers, wide belt sanders, table saws, sliding table saws and various other pieces of equipment to produce Reception Desks, Conference Tables, Wall paneling and various other millwork items. You would be working with raw materials that include hardwood, acrylic, solid surface, stainless steel, aluminum, plastic laminate, and glass, among other items to complete projects.

Requirements

• A desire to work with your hands and personal pride in completing quality projects.
• Basic carpenters skills and familiarity with essential small tools such as tape measures, powered drills and powered drivers.
• You should also understand how to use pneumatic nail guns, miter saws, hand routers and various other small tools in a safe manner.
