About The Position

GENERAL OVERVIEW: Performs a wide variety of journeyman level operations which include construction, alterations and finishes. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Performs new construction, additions, renovations and structural repairs according to Federal, State and Local Government Codes. (40%) Repairs, replaces, installs and builds hospital areas and casework including finishes. Performs preventive maintenance and inspections.(40%) Installs doors, frames, window units, access panels; replaces plastic laminates. (20%) Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Trade School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Hospital Carpentry Experience
• Ability to read architectural drawings and detailed carpentry drawings
