In this role you will be responsible for driving and managing the profitable growth and operation of HNTB’s North Carolina and South Carolina practice. As the Office Leader, you will lead a highly respected multi-discipline team of professionals who exemplify HNTB’s Leadership Characteristics every day. You will have an opportunity to take an already successful practice to even greater success with the support of HNTB’s strong reputation in a growing transportation infrastructure market. As Office Leader, you will establish long term strategic plans for profitable growth of an office with Gross Revenues in excess of $65M. The Carolinas Office Leader is responsible for managing the profitability and growth of the North Carolina and South Carolina region with annual gross revenues exceeding $65M. The Carolinas practice is diverse and leadership responsibilities will encompass multiple market sectors including DOT, Rail/Transit, Toll/Transportation Technology, Planning/Environmental, and Aviation. The long-established HNTB operation is dynamic and high performing with a demonstrated track record of discovering and delivering extraordinary value on the most significant projects in the Carolinas. The Office Leader will join strong practices in the Capital Region and Pennsylvania markets and collaborate with a unity of purpose across HNTB's Mid Atlantic Division, and throughout the firm, to discover and deliver extraordinary value across all market sectors. This position establishes long-term strategic plans for profitable growth while effectively leading the day-to-day operations of a multi-discipline team of 200 employees. We are looking for someone with demonstrated advanced business development skills, strong government relations experience, sales accomplishments and experience hiring, developing and retaining key talent. This office has grown rapidly over the last several years – the successful candidate will demonstrate a successful track record of developing and leading high performing teams. Responsible for sales, revenue, earnings, and cash management across the geography.
