About The Position

The Carle Experience Advisor will be responsible for leveraging data from patient perception surveys and other sources to optimize the patient experience throughout the Carle system. Will be responsible to recognize and share successes, identify and address challenges to providing excellent patient experiences, and use evidence-based methodologies to provide training and support to providers and staff. Responsible for forecasting and helping to address favorable and unfavorable patient experiences. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree: Related Field

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and champion behaviors consistent with organizational standards.
  • Using patient feedback and data, provide coaching, support, and resources to providers and staff.
  • Support departmental leaders in implementing best practices for patient experience.
  • Round, visit, and shadow in clinical areas to observe and support excellence in care delivery.
  • Facilitate skills labs and other learning opportunities to build staff confidence and competence.
  • Provide regular reports / scorecards / assessments to departmental leaders, medical leadership, and service line VPs.
  • Represent Carle Experience team on system-wide initiatives for service excellence.
  • Support Patient & Family Advisory Council meetings.
  • In consultation and collaboration with appropriateleader(s), develop action plans as needed to improve organizational performance in areas where scores require improvement and/or greater levels of staff awareness.
  • Meet with new staff and / or new providers to support onboarding and acculturation with Carle's behavior standards and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
