About The Position

As an Advisor Experience Associate you will support advisors by delivering timely operational, service, and technology assistance. This role focuses on direct communication with advisors on resolving routine inquiries, executing service requests accurately, and ensuring a smooth day-to-day advisor experience. This position will work in tandem with our Sales associates offering advisors an experienced team integrating sales and service support. The Advisor Experience Associate position reports to the Director – Insides Sales, Head of Training and Advisor Experience, and is based out of our home office in Topeka, Kansas. We work a hybrid schedule, offering flexibility to work both remotely and on-site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, communications, or related field preferred.
  • 0-3 years of experience in financial services, operations, or client service.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with high accuracy in a regulated environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • Foundational understanding of brokerage, advisory, annuity, or mutual fund products preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for advisors regarding account operations, service workflows, and platform support.
  • Research and resolve advisor inquiries related to new business, transfers, advisor appointment, and post-issue account support.
  • Provide guidance on advisor-facing systems, tools, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalations.
  • Proactively engage with advisors to provide client account support while also enhancing their experience with best practices, guidance and insights.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of service requests.
  • Track open cases and follow through to completion.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and guide advisors on feature usage and workflow optimization.
  • Share system feedback with internal teams.
  • Foster trust and strong working relationships with advisors.
  • Deliver proactive and high-quality service to enhance advisor satisfaction, retention, and productivity
  • Identify recurring advisor needs and recommend process improvements.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions for new advisors, ensuring strong understanding of tools, processes, and support resources.
  • Ensure all activities meet regulatory guidelines, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and client information.
  • Stay current on compliance policies, industry regulations, and firm protocols.
