About The Position

The Cargo Operations Coordinator supports daily cargo operations by coordinating cargo handling activities and assisting with operational oversight to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant service. This is a hands-on role that works closely with warehouse staff, flight operations, and management to support operational goals and customer service.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in air cargo, warehouse, or logistics operations
• Working knowledge of cargo handling procedures and regulatory requirements
• Comfortable using warehouse systems, cargo software, and basic office tools
• Ability to work flexible schedules in an airport environment
• Strong coordination and organizational skills
• Safety-focused mindset
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Clear communication
• Customer service orientation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment

• Previous coordination or lead experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cargo flow including receiving, buildup, breakdown, storage, and dispatch
• Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of inbound and outbound shipments
• Monitor warehouse conditions, equipment usage, and workflow efficiency
• Assist in identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Coordinate work assignments and support warehouse staff during assigned shifts
• Provide guidance and on-the-job support to team members as needed
• Assist with training on safety procedures, handling requirements, and company processes
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a safe work environment
• Support enforcement of safety, security, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with TSA, IATA, airline, and workplace safety standards
• Report and document incidents, irregularities, and safety concerns
• Assist with audits, inspections, and required training documentation
• Communicate with customers, freight forwarders, and internal teams
• Assist in resolving service issues, delays, or cargo discrepancies
• Coordinate with flight operations and ramp teams to support on-time performance
• Assist with daily operational reports and shift updates
• Support inventory control of warehouse supplies and equipment
• Communicate staffing or operational needs to management
