About The Position

Sunridge Assisted Living is looking for a fun, dedicated, compassionate, and energetic individual to join our team and be a vital link between our residents, the nurse, and other facility staff in a fun and rewarding environment. Requirements

  • Basic computer skills
  • Self-Starter and able to work independently
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
  • High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head
  • Good communication skills, such as being able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and professionals. Including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
  • Possess a love for the elderly
  • Have a positive and compassionate attitude
  • A background check is required for this position upon hire as well as food handlers permit, CNA certification, CPR/First Aid certification, and a TB test.

  • Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
