About The Position

At HomeWell Care Services, we are seeking compassionate Caregivers (CNAs & HHAs) to provide non-medical, one-on-one support to seniors in their homes, allowing them to age in place. We have immediate needs for caregivers in St. Petersburg, Pinellas Park, Seminole, and Largo, with cases available in Pinellas and Pasco County. The role involves forming relationships with clients while assisting with a variety of non-medical services. HomeWell Care Services is a nationwide team dedicated to enhancing seniors' lives, offering many opportunities for compassionate individuals who enjoy improving the quality of life of those around them, with numerous positions for varying levels of expertise, such as companion caregivers, certified aides, and case managers. Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including lifting and transferring up to 50 pounds
• Must have an active CPR Certification or be willing to get certified
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid insurance
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
• Must have an active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one

Nice To Haves

• CNA or HHA license
• 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons

Responsibilities

• Perform activities of daily living and provide companionship for our clients in their homes
• Personal hygiene including but not limited to bathing, grooming and dressing
• Meal planning and preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed
• Help with medication as required
• Transportation for appointments and errands
