About The Position

At HomeWell Care Services, we are immediately hiring compassionate Caregivers (HHAs/CNAs) to join our team in Palm Harbor, Tarpon Springs, East Lake, Oldsmar, and surrounding areas. This role involves working individually with clients, one-on-one, to provide a variety of non-medical services that enable seniors to age in place in their own homes. Our mission is to enhance seniors’ lives, one day at a time, by offering individualized support and companionship. HomeWell Care Services has locations across the U.S., providing numerous opportunities for compassionate individuals at varying levels of expertise, including companion caregivers, certified aides, and case managers. This specific franchise is independently owned and operated, and all hiring decisions and employment inquiries should be directed to the local franchise management, not to HomeWell Care Service Corporate.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including lifting and transferring up to 50 pounds
• Must have an active CPR Certification or be willing to get certified
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid insurance
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
• Must have an active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one

Nice To Haves

• Preferred CNA or HHA license or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons

Responsibilities

• Perform activities of daily living and provide companionship for our clients in their homes
• Personal hygiene including but not limited to bathing, grooming and dressing
• Meal planning and preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed
• Help with medication as required
• Transportation for appointments and errands
